Well, they are talking about brushed and brushless.

A sensorless controller is capable of running 2 motors at the same time, it is not recommended though, and not needed either, because when you run on 12-16 cells, one motor is allready powerfull enough to take the max amount of power from the batteries. 2 motors would be very hard on your batteries.
