Gorilla Driveshaft problem

I really thought I had this licked for a moment, but the supplied 6mm drive cups won't fit on the input gear shaft for the differentials. So here's my try at some better shots.

All the way back (no problems here, transmission cups prevent it from going to far)


All the way forward. This is where I believe the problem is; the cups allow at least ~6mm of movement here, and the dogbone begins to fall out near on the transmission side.


Any ideas are welcome, I have not tried the fuel tubing one, but I'll get on it.
