The torque you gain is alot better though. Seems like the motors run cooler
as well though. Cooler motors make them last longer.

Sounds like what I might try, dropping a pinion tooth or 2. How do I adjust the slipper? Is it possible the brushes could be bad, I just got it outta the box with only 10 minutes of driving total?
