this forum is a god-send for an old SAWS [straightline record time trials] fast electric boater with a new interest in r/c monster trucks like me...

i've been reading posts for 3-days trying to get a handle on my new project 8IGHT-T roller...

Did you try the Kontronik Power Jazz? It can hold up to 63V, you should watch the instant, non proportional brakes, though.

I heard the PowerJazz is giving some guys a lot of problems. I haven't heard anything yet on the Schulze 40.160. The boat and Helicopter guys seems to be having a lot of fun with the 40.160.

A few guys were using them on boats and they failed. I also heard the same for some guys who flies planes and helicopter.
