I have the only Cell Shield (by Dimension Engineering) that is compatible with cars, but I don't use it. It has a few issues that wouldn't be noticed in an airplane, but are annoying for car use. I was told that this item would be produced if the demand were large enough, but it seems this project fell off the map when I stopped receiving replies from Dimension while I was testing it.

I tried that dimension engineering one once and it just cut out randomly. The voltage on the batteries was well above the cut off and it would just stop. I didnt reall goof around with it to much to figure out why. I just switched to the one Mike sells in the RCM store. It works well enough. Just cuts the throttle when the voltage drops. Simple, no bells and whistles, but it works.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
