I believe that the 120A rating is the peak current rating for that esc. It's constant current handling rating is 80A and the most it can handle is 4S. I would think that you'd be better off running a Mamba Max.

I used to own one that I used for a winter setup because they are waterproof, but I agree, the MM would be a better chioce for the money for a general setup.

Mtroniks is pretty basic technology. 120A peak, 80A constant is really not enough in my opinion.
