no, not neccesarely more efficient. They are wound in a different way. not meaning that both a Wye and a delta of the same KV value could be close in effiency.

I have got a 2200kv neu laying here, waiting for a 5S project.

They seem to be able to handle it quite well. the 1515 comes in a 4100kv too.. :p
