1/8th scale motor mounts

Wow.. i like the way that one mounts. he must do that on a mill? Nice work too.

We ended up making something out of an existing motor mount for a plane.. Its not super pretty but seems to be working ok so far. It is separate from the center diff mount and for testing we only had it bolted in two points on the chassis. I think either the mount walked, or there was a little flex. It was either that or the harshness of the motor brakes that killed the spur gear in 5 minutes.

Im hooked though. The power is twice what i expected. Cant wait to get this setup bulletproof so it can receive the bashing it deserves. :)
