You do have plans to stop the truck don't you? :);) I don't see man brakes in there, so you will have to stop w/ the motor. The tranny will freespin due to clutch/oneway bearing if its not locked.

BrianG's Speed calc A 9XL on 6S A123 is faster than a 8XL on 5S A123. I'm not a quark expert, but I believe I've read they will run 6S A123 (22.2V), but 6S lipos (25.2V) are teh trouble spot. I'd personally go with 6S A123 w/ a 10Xl over a 5S A123/ 8XL if you are considering 6S an option. Speeds should be close, but the former will be cooler and give better runtime (but weight is more obviously.)
