It seems to handle better in the backyard due to more tire area touching the ground. And it looks better too. :) Since I'm running large tires, I used the 12T pinion. For track use, I'll probably go with the stock size for cooler running.

Your beat me to my next question. I bought a regular steel 32p 13T today for testing with the buggy sized wheels. That should be good with my high KV (6400) motor.

I guess I need to get fabricating tomorrow. I need a motor and battery mount. I'd like to buy the motor mount on this site, but I'm not sure it will be stiff enough for the steel spur to pinion interface?
