overheating issues?

no fd does not make a kit but i am currently machining one from some 6065 aluminum stock that i have. I am baseing my design on the one that they sell here except mine with have a finned base plate. But yes my friend runs a BS 9920 with a xlt1, that truck, heavy as it may be, will beat my revo 3.3(with a nitro motor that is ported) on top end and on bottom end. car action did a review on it and its top speed was 42mph, not half bad for a 13lb truck. but my battery sould be able to handle the draw its a maxamps 5000hv 5s battery, that is if i decide to go 5s but if i go 4s it will be the same battery except only 4s. heres the specs.
# 20C Constant(100 amps)
# 30C Sustained(150 amps)
# 50C Burst(250 amps)
I also saw a video of a person who used a MM with a XL8 with 5s and it ripped like crazy, but a XL7 will give me more top end correct?
