I agree with Angel, The 7XL is fast and nasty, but only for a few minutes. I never run an 8XL but have run a 9XL and with stock gearing its a little faster than the titans. You can gear it up a few teeth and get to the 30's with 12 cells quite easy. I have switched to a 1515/2.5d and the difference is night and day. Same KV roughly but the power makes it feel like its not trying, I have moved the 9xl to my Gmaxx. I have given some thoughts to putting the 7XL in a pan car or touring car with 6s and see how it would run
