LOL, talk about "slightly" overpowered. Sure, it'll work, but wow. I would be more concerned about under loading the motor.

OTOH, you could gear that sucker up to the moon for some really high speed runs. You might want to beef up the driveline to handle that kind of torque too.

Don't forget; the new truck is 8lbs RTR, but when you add that heavy motor/ESC/batts to it, the weight will probably be closer to 9-10lbs.
