I always set my LVC (when possible) for around 3.1-3.2v/cell no matter what type of lithium battery I'm using. It doesn't seem to appreciably affect runtime (since runtime is measured in seconds at that point) and the pack seems to stay in balance better.
That said, I never had any temp troubles with the emoli cells at all, but it was only in my 2wd jato so that could have something to do with it... |

They worked great in my buggy, whick is geared 15/51, for about 38mph. They provided plenty of juice, even running in grass. I will set the lvc a little higher next time and try again.
