Hey Guys,

You can always email us directly for assistance, Tech@teamnovak.com CS@teamnovak.com or Charlie@teamnovak.com

I always have a hard time "nailing" a particular problem to the wall with out testing the system first, but the basics have likely been covered, connections, wiring and bad plugs. I've seen and had Deans plugs that when inserted completely will cause the system to "misfire" or not start. The solution was simply not to plug them in all the way. I don't know if this is common, but I had 4 packs that all had the same issues. Replaced the deans and Voila problem gone. It's worth looking into at least.

Deans are new. I have a brand new 4.5 motor that I will try. If that doesn't help, I'll send the system to Novak to see what the problem is.

Welcome to the forums, Charlie. Good to have some Novak expertise here. Any chance I could get a good pic of the custom center spur setup that Bob is running in his kyosho 1/8 buggy?

Charlie,

I'll be sending the HV-Maxx system for you guys to look at. I'll fill out all the paper work and I made a copy of the receipt. I tried it with my new 4.5 motor and it was the same situation.

I decided to try my MGM TMM 8012-3s with the 4.5 motor I have and wow. It is fast. The MGM is really smooth.

Just an update on the issues I had. I mailed the system in to Novack a little over a week ago. Just got a brand new one on my doorstep today. They tested it and the ESC had a bad Mosfet. Great turn around time and customer service.
Thanks Charlie!
