ok i guess ill go with the 3s2p 6000, i sent you a pm about the motor. im gonna have the truck and battery and esc on their way either monday or tuesday (waiting on my new debit card for my checking account) and then ill have everything but the charger so i can finish all the mounting on the chassis and ill have to sell the nitro stuff i removed before i can purchase my new charger.

You wouldnt happen to know if the 2.5 engine would be a bolt in replacement for a traxxas 2.5 engine would you? if so i have it sold already, im just wondering and i cant ever get ahold of anyone at hotbodies to answer my question.

could you give me a link to further info on the MM bec problem guess i could run a reciever pack if i had too just would like to know what the problem is. the bec does supply 6v doesnt it?

Im picky about my steering servos, always have been i guess, lol i have a 70oz/in hitec 225mg servo in my minilst2 if that tells you anything. i usally run an overkill servo, so if its 1/10th scale it needs atleast a 100oz/in mg servo in my book.

The bec in the mm tends to heat up alot, and the mm has a minimal size heatsink and thermal abilities. BrianG did some testing and found that anything over 7.4v made the internal bec heatup quite a bit. A novak fan and some 1/8" spaces will help the mm stay cooler. I know some here do not like fans, I do not mind, but am not that hard of a basher! On 3s you should not have much problem with heat, but keep an eye on it during the first few runs. If you have an extra 50 artur(griffinru) can mod the mm and make it much better at managing its heat. I would give it a try first and see how it works for you. Since it is getting cooler you may not have issues.

Not sure about that charger, I have not tried it. I have a duratrax ice and a mrc 989 and would recommend them both. The ice has the best menus of all of the chargers I have tried, but I purchased the mrc cause I needed a charger capable of charging more than 4s. The mrc is a great deal cuase it comes with a power supply. The ice requires a seperate supply, or using the old car battery, which I prefer not to.
