Just throwing in my two cents worth. For most applications, 4S with a 2600kv motor does nicely. For insanely fast speeds, you can jump up to 5S with a lower kv motor and use gearing.

We got our Kyosho Inferno GT up to 94mph running a 1900kv Neu 1512 motor on 5S.

AANGEL any help is appreciated. Im thinking about a MUGEN because of parts avalibility & my friend can get them. What do you guys think about using a lehner basic xl or maybe a 9l if there is enough room to start with ?.

Sorry, did'nt even think to search. Is there any word on a conversion for the Serpent? My LHS has two in stock and have been drooling over them, when I thought how cool would it be to make them brushless.

My problem is no access to machines or materials for these conversions.
