The last test I have to perform with the controller will hopefully happen tonight. I will use my ICE charger to discharge my 2s lipo to about 6.3 volts, then attach it to the MGM and run it to see if it cuts out at 6 while programmed for 2s.

let me know how everything works out with the ICE, i have an ice also and once i get my mgm setup for lipo, i will be using it to charge a 2s pack also.
