Parts availability is one of the main reasons why I like Traxxas; most LHS carry just about everything in stock without waiting for shipping. Just about every other brand requires that dang waiting period. When I break a part, I want a replacement now! I usually end up getting an assortment of parts that I think will break, but I'm usually missing that one little part to complete the repair. :grrr:

I agree with you Brian, nothing more annoying than waiting on parts!

I purchased a few spur gears and a set of arms for my LS10. I can safely say that the spur gear will never wear out. It is more than 1/4" wide and is mod 1. I have about 5 hours on it, and I bought the truck used. It has not worn at all. The arms are also very sturdy too. I have replaced the front dogbones with hpi mt2 cvds. And the rear dogbones will pop out from time to time, some shock limiters seem to cure this. Other than that nothing else has broken, so it seems to be a good truck.
