what i was trying to do was to use 0 offset wheels and get back to the stock width of th xt8, thats what the adapters are for. you want to keep factory width, thats what all the r&d is for! i wouldn't go messing with the width of the truck. i'm sure xray spent tons of money on the research that brought to the width of the xt8.

Good point. So, what is the overall width including tires? Then I can measure mine and see how close it is.
