It stands Battery Eliminator Circuit. Basically, it's a circuit that eliminates the need for a seperate RX battery (like you 6v one from your Revo) to power the reciever, esc, and servos by drawing power from the main battery pack. The MM has a built in BEC but it cannot handle voltages that high (4S) without overheating and possibly burning up. That's why you either need a seperate BEC meant to handle the high voltages or run a battery pack (like the one from your Revo). And you need to disconnect the red wire that goes from the ESC to the RX because that will disable the ESC's built in BEC.
