Since you mentioned it check out Zeropointbug's signature. He did this or is still working on it. Not sure.

I saw zeropoints sig that's kind of why I had it in my head. I PM'ed zeropoint about it a while ago. I have a friend who has been doing up an old australian ute for a while and he has decided to convert it to electric. I think he wants to use it as a street legal drag car and flog the v8's at the drag races.
