I think I'm going to get the xt8, now is there anything I need to upgrade?

When I look at the list of options they have, there are not that many.

I would assume the diffs are strong, looking at some pics, they look really good.

there is nothing needed to upgrade the xt8 - it's very strong in stock form - a very well bred machine.

i'm about a month away from racing mine - so i can report back with race results on how she holds up on the track.


Xray XT8 (Neu powered) MMM on 5s
MD 500 scale heli - castle HV-45 on 3s
Eflite Blade 400 heli on 3s

if you plan on racing it on a tight technical track, the chassis stiffening plate that mike sells isn't necessary. i took mine off and also removed the aluminum front and rear braces. this truck flexes now in the turns and gets more traction. this truck pulls hard out of corners and is a blast to drive!
