How about a swap in "one way" or "limited slip" center diff for sand play and keep the "gear" diffs set for the track?


If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...

that's what i would do for starters - just buy a complete center diff to swap out, so you'd have a center diff with oil for each of the 2 tracks. it's not too tough to get the diffs out, but having to change oils would get old quick (tear the diff down, pour out the old oil, clean out well, put new oil in, etc.).

either locked, or using very heavy diff oil so it seems locked (but with limited slip).
