I'll only be running it on my street which is comprised entirely of old, gray pavement. I don't know if you saw the earlier posts, but I bought an Align 600XL for the truck. I'm saving up for an EVO25 6s 5000 pack, an MGM 16024 controller, and a UBEC. I'll probably buy 2 sets of the silver compound donuts.
I assume they have more traction since they cost 3 times as much.

Edit: I just though of a really quick way to true up the foams - Don't practice throttle control! But do make sure your rear camber is at 0 degrees.

I installed the motor last night. It fits great. I did have to put some spacers under the tranny to allow the motor can to clear the chassis, but thats it. There is plenty of room right now for a 20T M1 pinion to mesh with the 40T spur.







I'm hoping I get enough cash for Christmas to cover either the battery ($300) or the controller ($375). That would be sweet.
