I also have a similar tool, but it is a drive, not a drill. It is the skill ixo, or somethink like that, has a lipo battery and really saves time, especially with a complete teardown and rebuild! I like your idea with the allen keys. You can also buy the hardened tips for the losi hand drivers and use them the same way. They will last longer and not strip out the fastners so often.
