ok, I plugged in the external batt. pack, but I didnt install the esc into the receiver. I wasnt sure if I should take the red wire out or leave it in. Steering work, along with the brake. so, is my bec a dud? I dont know what to do anymore.. thanks,,

You want to leave the red wire out when you use the Rx pack or the BEC. If you do in fact have it hooked up right then you may have a messed up BEC.

ok, I installed the receiver batt. pack with the 4S batt. w/ the red wire out in channel 2 and everthing works. brake works, throttle, and the steering.. does this mean taht i have a bad bec?
