I run 6s1p pack. It give about the same performance as a 5s lipo pack. Yea voltage is going to sag a little on launch. Does not hurt the cells and I still get wheel spin so it does not effect me much.

Many others run 6s2p packs. I thought about that and have enough cells but....
Did not want to add 1 lb to truck. and it gets harder and hard to place all the cells in the truck.

I have not done it but if I was to do it again with no $$ worries I think I would go 9s1p.
I want slightly longer run time, and a cooler motor. It would also keep amps down a bit and give more power. the real conserne would be getting the right ESC and Motor wind. Maybe a 11XL of something close to that.


Oh and it would only add about .5 lbs that way

How long runtimes are you geting ? and what gearing do you use ? pinion/spur !

Schulze works good with the Neu motors. Schulze also works good with Mega motors. Schulze likes me I think.

woud this motorKB45-08L 2300kv work as good as a feigao 8xl in a e-maxx on 4s lipo ? it's 45x63mm ! and costs only 49.95$
