I just went to charge the Neu pack before I use it but it wouldn't wake up my LBA10 balancer, after some poking around with the voltmeter I discovered that while the balance PLUG is hyperion compatible (after a little shaving), its balance lead has a common negative and individual positives, unlike my other packs that have a common positive and individual negatives.
It looks like I will have to strip the heat shrink off the pack and resolder the balance wires onto the opposite tab of the cells before I can use it, I sure hope they have copper tabs so I can solder to them.
I'll give it a day or two first tho, in case anyone else can think of a way around it without risking puncturing a cell removing the shrink or cooking a cell soldering, its not something I want to do, but I cant think how else to make em work. I already soldered connectors on and shaved the balance plug before I realised so I can't send em back.

On the hyperion plug you can lift up a little plastic holder and slide the wire out. I don't know if this solves anything for you but, maybe you could just swap the wires around.
Thanks Cartwheels, I took apart an old LiPo to practice on today and found that its not a common positive or negative at all, its just taps from the positive or negative terminals, so I rewired the plug like you suggested and it seems OK, the balancer came on, but only 1 cell flashed at me, hopefully that's just because only 1 cell was out
