Yes he is talking about the shrink on the ESC you used. It seems "rubbery"? Or thicker.

I got my heatshrink for Altex here in Houston. It's the same one I used on my batteries and it's hard. Zero Flex (looks deceiving). I like it since it keeps my batteries nice and warm for dragracing. Tashpop has seen it.

its good that all you speak about shrink wraps :) but i think ESC is more imprtant :)
I hope soon get any feedback about ESC performance, is it worth or not.

Everyone knows that a good heatshrink job is good for at least an extra 10A and/or 10v! Just like "turbo" or "NOS" stickers add about 10-15HP to any car.

Don't forget that a red paintjob will add at least 5mph to the top speed. Something to do with the refraction of light from the color red that exctly aligns the painted surface to the aparent motion of particles as they approach the speed of light. It also has to do with Brownian motion and has a direct correlation to the space/time continueum. It is all well over my head, but well proven in the origianl Star Trek. Oh, and William Shatner rules!

The second sentence almost made me fall out of my chair from laughing so hard!

So the FET's are 25V right? They look easy enough to replace if you can find some 35V or 50V ones in a TO-220 case. That would be pretty cool. I would actually pay $85 for an ESC brain board. But getting a motor with it is nice, NVM the LCD programming card.

But during the Summer I just put dual racing stripes around them for that extra ummphh.

Im fairly impressed. Check out the youtube vid of the esc & motor system in their 1:10 4wd truck- the brakes seems to very good, and no signs of cogging either. Top speed isnt too bad either = 43mph. This isnt with the 120amp esc though, but a 50amp 3s version.
