Given how smooth the quarks and the new MM updated software is, having a sensored system does seem less important. I can understand why novak keeps it though, sice most of their systems seem to be used for racing where low end smoothness is vital, and sensorless systems do suffer a little at low rpms, smooth programming or otherwise. Since the Hv series was aimed at bashers though having sensors does make the system idiot proof more or less, and not having to fiddle with throttle curves or startup power/timing etc is a relief for many. Depends how competent the user is really.

Please pass my thanks and appreciation to Bob and ... whats-his-name for me, I really do look forward to seeing the new systems, and a 6s setup would be great- need those bigger rotors though; 380 vs 540 = no contest.
