If you want that look, go with a muggy conversion. You can probably make the 20mm hubs work with an 8t (anything is possible I guess), but you would be adding back a lot of the weight difference between the muggy and 8t.
From what I've heard from the Nitro Losi guys, the muggy's main problem comes from the nitro clutch. Otherwise, it seems to hold up nicely. Should be a real nice conversion to electric. |
