thanks guys, that clears things up. I've got some q's about lehner motors now but i might start another thread to avoid confusion with the title.

Lehner motor as top shelf just like a Neu IMO. They have pluses and minus vs Neu.

Plus: The Lehner are 2 pole and run great on just about ANY brushless controller, they are standard 36mm diameter so they "fit" better into some tight spaces.

Downside: The front plate is rather shallow and you have to be VERY carfull with the length of the mounting screws you use, and if you ever need anything on them it is a MAJOR pain in the a$$ to get it serviced. They are just about as slow as they can possibly be. I sent email inquiries to them asking about service on one of my motors and it took them 2 weeks just to answer the email and they basically told me send it in and they would let me know how long it would take.


I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
