What do you expect from it in terms of speed/endurance?
I wouldn't go for those heavy packs either; i am currently working this maxx with 5S 4000mAh packs in 2P. You could go for the Mamba maxx controller and aim for 4S; 4s2P of the true-rc 4000 packs (giving a total of 8000mAh) is very nice. And MUCH lighter than these heavy maxamps 10k cells!
