Who in their right mind would send battery packs in a padded envelope? That is one of the stupidest things that I have ever heard of. With the weight of those Nm packs you know that you have to mail them in something that will withstand the punishment of the postal system plus you have to make sure there is enough padding inside to keep them from mouncing all over the place during shipping. Plus if there was any money of interest involved you should always use the insurance that is available to cover the investment. Otherwize if something goes wrong your the one who looses. I would be willing to bet that the seller will not make up for the loss as he will say it was not his fault, but a padded envelope is incredibly stupid for this item. Plus the shipping company will not take the responsibility for the shippers mistake of packaging the item worng either. I am affraid that the loss is may be on you.
Sorry for your loss, and try dealing with companies that have a better rep for this hobby. At least that way you know they have been around for a while and they want to maintain a good repour with the customer. Good luck with that.
