any comments on the great tyre dilemma??

Well...I do not race. I am really in this hobby because I love building these trucks. Having said that, I like to run beadlock wheels with some good all terrain tyres.

I really like the Axial Oversize beadlock wheels but I am not crazy about the tyre selection (they take Proline 40 series or Losi 420 Series).

As for tyres that I REALLY like...Proline Badland tyres are cool. Problem with them is that if you wanted to run beadlock wheels, you'd have to go with Maximizer wheels. Unfortunately, I do not like Maximizer's wheels...I have one set and I just don't like the way the tyres sit on the wheel and the darn hex hubs just don't mount up inside the wheel securely like other wheels.

Its really a matter of preference...there are more tyre choices in the Monster Truck Series...just the beadlock wheels for that application are not the greatest...IMO
