bdebde, its for my G2R. Sorry,if the post didn't make it clear, I tend to ramble.

M A, thanks for the heads up. I to have heard about the possible difference in amps on the differing types of windings. I believe i could gear the 1515/2.5 i have, but think a different wind or KV would be better. I know Mike has 22 and 24 pinions (Mine is geared 20/51) and i'm sure with plate mods and some coaxing, i could get bigger from Mike. I know the pinion would be cheaper, but is it really as good or better in efficiency to a better KV'ed Motor.

I am wondering if the 1515/1.5d (2700kv) would be a good motor, I got the pinions to gear lower(If i got a smooth can) to keep it running about 40 (47 with current setup on that motor) Anyone have an opinion on this motor?

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
