What is the reason to put "value of less than $15" on the package, is this to save a few bucks on shipping?

No, if we put the real value, the package could be stick to the border for over a month... That's what Grisa, at MGM tell to us.
This is true or false?????, i don't know it, but all of us want to recieve the controler in a short laps of time, but Electric Eel have not be lucky at all.

Hope that any aothers guys will have this kind of problems.

Hey Electric Eel, how have you learn that the post office has lost your controller????? You've call them to know where your controller was or you've send an email to MGM to know if he have recieve it???

Both, David. I have a relative in the post office who checked for me. I had her check after it didn't show up at mgm. its sad really, people with no insiders in the post office would never know that they lost track of the package. The box would just disappear with no way to find it without insurance. My fault really-i felt bad about the declared value but wanted it back quick. You can't really win either way-stay inside your country for service. hurry up monster max!!!

I am from germany and will receive my order (esc) directly from the manufacturer next week. The 3.20 is the latest available version. I will tell you as soon as possible if the problems are fixed.

Important hint :
For further firmware updates you need the following cable :

That really stinks man. Insurance is cheap. Sometimes I put a crazy insurance amount just in case the post office loses any of my things. Then they can learn a lesson. You should've added a $600 insurance on the controller and if they lost it, it would pay for the controller and headaches LOL. It may sound messed up, but they should not lose anything in the first place.

non EMS package stays at customs usually a week, EMS that is quite cheap from US leaves customs usually within couple hours. EMS cost just about 10$ over standard priority mail and gets here in 5-7 days. priority mail can take ages.

it's not about a value of the shipment but what is written on the package. if you put there something like - toy car part for repair they will leave it alone (especially when most of the custom officers hardly know any english :) )

if package does not have an invoice attached to it and is shipped from a private address customs leave it alone.

I order stuff from US more than regularly and never had an issue with EMS but with Priority mail plenty (one got here after 40 days, couple were returned to sender withouit any reason)

Since about a half year ago I use only EMS. i even use forwarding service for stores that dont offer EMS (like tower) that consolides my packages and sends them via EMS

I even used EMS to send my first dead quark to US to be sure (tho our EMS is more expensive - like $50 the lowest rate)

Because the CC_02 will not work. Only the CC_03 will be used to update the firmware !

A cable is a cable
If it's just the pinout that's different, i'll just change my pinout on my CC_02

OK, just too bad..... i just take a close look at my CC_02 cable and the new CC_03 cable, and the difference is at the plug. The CC_02 have a white plug at one end and a stadard servo plug at other end. the C_03 cable have a speciale white plug at both end

On the USBCOM+, they have two place to plug the cable, one with 3 long cooper wires, and another with a special plug like on the controller end.

So MGM have make the new version to work with this special cable............................................. .................................................. .............................................You know wath????????

I realy like Castle Creation
