Thanks for the help i think for now im going to hold off and see what the next few weeks brings as the local track is opening. Most of the guys seem to be running a stock 1/10 scale brushless class but a few of us have MT's and i know id like to run my maxx and possibly a revo if i can put one together.

^I’m a fan of hanging it off the dual motor mount, similar to the intention of the RCM ESC plate. Up off the chassis and bulks/towers, centralized and close to motor, and up high enough to get some decent air-flow from a vented body.
