Last saturday I was running 4s A123 with the ESC untill the cells dumped. Nothing happend and there was plenty of power on tap.

Ok so from what im reading this is a good alternative for a basher on a budget? Im pretty decent at soldering SMT and through hole so im wondering if any of you have a list of mods that i could do to beef this up, and run this in an emaxx or possibly a rustler.

We have listed a few MOSFETs that would do good and you might also want to change the capacitors. I'm waiting for GriffinRU to let me know if a MCU swap was successful and after that I will ask him to swap brain boards with another controller I have that seems to use the same board as the car controller.
