Jerry2kone-
Thank you for that. I've seen people that get over 30,000 a month just for their race, and I lived in a nursing home for 11 months and saw people who literally owned nothing, yet the people with nothing were the most generous, caring people I've met. People get so wrapped up in status and posessions. Life is absolutely about the relationships you make, the health and well being of your friends and family is the only thing that is really important. Don't sweat the small stuff!

Very true! My friend always says to not sweat the petty stuff, but instead pet the sweaty stuff!

Hey Paralyzed I know you can feel what I am saying. It is a shame that a lot of us never really sees that kind of perspective until something bad happens in our lives. Losing a limb, feeling, or even a loved one. If any of us has been around long enough we know what life was like 30 to 40 years ago. We are soooooo spoiled with things the way they are now. Yea the economy sucks, but we still have it made. We all hear from time to time how a Coke used to cost $.10, and a loaf of bread was a quater. Still back in those days we were lucky to have a dollar to spend with money being so tight, if you heard a coin drop it turned your head. Not any more. We walk right by pennies, nickles and even dimes. Our perspective has gotten so unbelievable, and our children just don't get it.

I have learned that no matter what happens or how bad things can get, tomorrow will come and go. TIME never stops. Find the positive in everything that crosses your path. Don't waste good effort on anything negative as it takes you in a reverse direction that you will have to overcome later anyway. My point was that I can see that there are a lot of you guys who have seen the same things that I have, and have overcome. Knowledge is power. Learn and move on. Life is good gentlemen. Lets have some fun.
