Any time I have tried to run two systems off one set of batteries, the runtime was horrible. I think you would be better off running the 11.1 Lipos seperately to each motor/controller. Be aware, though, that in a pede, the rear will likely use a little more juice vs. the front, simply due to the front having less traction on acceleration(less load). If you pay attention, you wouldn't have any troubles. The xl basic motors, as someone already mentioned, would have more torque than the basic series motors, but the actual performance difference in your application would be minimal. Dual motors will move your truck with authority for sure.
