Tom - I don't know what's going on with your setup, but even 80* weather with high humidity, I ran my MM/9XL/BEC setup without fans and it was fine on 4s. I was getting up to 35 min runtimes just messing around in grass and up to 20 min on the track. It's probably your gearing. Make sure your rear set screw on the diff input is tight, that will cause all your power to flow through your front wheels if it's loose. Also, gear up and use the speed calculator to pinpoint what your proper gearing should be for your desired speed. I have a CR (buggy) mount in mine, which is why I have a higher pinion.

I dont know whats is wrong.
Drivetrain moves freely no any tights or so I am even chaved weight on truggy now its 4.6kg
I tried use my setup on 5S geared on 40MPH on LSP 14/46 it Heated up even faster than 10min
Now tried on 4S with 17/46 still hot and with 16/46 at least i can do 15min mains but on limit and using fan.

I bought Hardened 15, 14 pinion and EagleTree for testing but its on way. But gear too down i start to loose top speed and cant compete with Nitros on stright runs on track.
I am start to think that Feiagao quality not stable mostly it overheats but some guys have good batch.

I dont know i will try new motor think about MEGA ACn22/45/1E I hope that it can hadle gearing about 40mph without heating
