4s2p is a "4 cell" 14.8v pack.... but does have 8 cells inside. The 2p just means it uses pairs of cells in parallel to make up the total mah capacity of the pack. For example a 4s2p 5000 pack would be made using a total of 8 2500 cells. The 2500 cells would be put together in pairs to make 5000 "cells" (or batteries, technically).
You really should be using a separate source to power the rx and servo on 4s/14.8v.... use either a UBEC or RX battery. It will keep the Quark cooler and possibly prevent a complete meltdown.

Well, the true rc packs are great deals, lots of value for money there. And most seem to find that they are underrated, which is great for a product like that.
The neuenergy packs are nice. I have a 5000 3s pack and have been very happy with it.
As far as chargers go, a MRC 989 is an excellent all around charger. It comes with a power supply, and is easy to use. Do not forget to buy a good balancer. A hyperion lba 10 or flightpower v balance are both great investments, as they can handle up to 6s lipo. The mrc can do 8s lipo, and all nimh, nicd, and lead acid. I have one and really like it.
You will need to buy adapters to balance packs with differnt balance connectors (taps). Hyperion makes adapter boards that fit the lba 10 to mate with all of the different style taps.
Well I decided i got the Hyperion 0610i, a TrueRC 8000mAh 14.8V 4S2P pack (it didnt say if that T. Rc was a 10c or 15c, I was assuming it was 15c. Anyone know?) and a NeuEnergy 30/60C 5000 4S1P. That hurt the pocket book, but I should be tearing up the dirt.
