I have the CD flipped around cuz I was running the Tekno CLutch in that buggy. I actually just got done flipping it back around to get rid of the clutch and reinstalling the mechanincal brake servos and linkage. Heres a picture on it finished and the dif flipped back around the right way.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
jhautz, that is a sweet setup. Looks like the spacer will work out ok. I am glad this post generated interest and lead to another cool RC-Monster brushless option for those that want to run mech brakes.
well i broke my servo case today, dont know if its from the minor flex in the way it was mounted or if it was from the fixed object i hit, but i will using a plate on the bottem of servo for a flat surface secured thru the bottem of the chassis and screwed into axial stand-offs and then mounting the servo to them on the top side, should be more secure and rigid
i added rear brake only and am using mixing with electric brake . tested it last night and it works great.
with the long brake arm I have tons of leverage.
so far I tried 30 percent in the MM seems good.
when I enter a turn and tap the brake the rear comes around . turn off the rear brake and doing the same thing it pushes to the outside of the turn.
the cool thing is I can turn on and off the third channel while Im racing depending on track .
have you used this spacer with a finned can?? will it fit... i dont think there would be any trouble with it but would like to be 100% on it before i order my neu...
