It had a stock servo mounted saver. I replaced it with this: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJSS6&P=V

Night and day difference, much better. I will upgrade the servo too, and this kit comes with all of the different adapters to fit all of the servos.

Got my Hobby city order in a few days ago, with the hv becs!

Bought two of these: http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=6320

Wired one up to the savage and it works great, no interference, and it even has an on/off switch. It is not small, and has a ferrite ring (big one) mounted about halfway along the rec wire. That righ is almost as big as a ccbec, and the main part of the bec is easily twice as big as a ccbec!

Other updates to the truck are a new steering servo, hitec 5997tg, and i relocated the rec to the area in front of the servos. Also added the twin disk brake setup, HD center cvds, and rebuilt the front diff to a 4 spider design. Also added a rcm heatsink to the motor, and put a set of 17mm hexes and some pin style tires.

Still running the 2 4s 3600 packs, and they work fine. Bashed it hard today, and 20mins later had a 2wd truck! Something completely let go in the front diff.

It was a blast though, tons of power. I was jumping it off the side of a ditch that runs down the middle of my grassy bash area. Got at lest 6ft of air and the truck flew well on power. I will open up the front diff and have a look at it, may be time for some al diff cups! The hpi ss ones with the steel inserts look good, I will have to try them out!
