1940/7 is a killer buggy motor. Great track motor on 4s and on 5s its a riciculously powerfull bashing motor.


My $0.02...

I have both Neu and Lehner motors and they are both flat out awesome. They both do have pluses and minuses though.

Lehner

(+) 2 pole works with any esc, 36mm can is "standard", Runs cool and super powerful
(-) Hard to get in the USA and expensive, 3mm motor mount screw hols are not the strongest IMO as they can be stripped is your not carefull. Weak support.

Neu

(+) Easy to get in USA, Powerefull and cool running, great support
(-) 4 pole means some ESCs struggle with them, larger than normal diameter can diameter, holes in the front of the motor arent the best for dirt driving IMO.


I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
