For the Diffs, just the cups like these? And this will help prevent the larger 'ring gear' gear from breaking teeth?

As Brian mentioned, the cups will help the spider gears last longer. You still need to shim the pinion/ring gears.

On another note, you can use an alloy outer diff case as well, which will prolong the life of your ring/pinion gears:

I have read that if you take the innards out of the 16.8 volt emaxx diff. the fit right in the revo diff's and are much better

also the emaxx 3905 tranny is much stronger?....easy mod
