well, you gave up like 230kv, go up to 6S or try some much taller gears. If you are experiencing no heat, you have PLENTY of head room for taller gears.


If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...

I wouldn't recommend this at all. Most Mamba Max's can't even handle 5s let alone 6s. Gear up instead.

In answer to your question, everything else equal, changing the ESC shouldnt really affect the top speed. For that you either need higher voltage or high gearing. If you got the Monster, then you could run 6s which would give your more speed.

what size clutch bell should I use? also, Do I need the spring for the clutch in the tekno conversion? I ask due to the fact that the motor spins pretty fast and grabs the clutch so If i get rid of the spring then the accel. will be quicker?

If I change the gear then would it affect the accel?
