The case is for the 'pede and rusty, you dont need the big locknuts for the rustler conversion, the small lock nuts hold the shock tower to the tranny case, I just used a small screw driver to manipulate them in there and bite a little thread, then put the screwdriver in sideways as a wedge on the nut and tightened the hex screw. FLM stuff tends to work best with thier own chassi/towers/arms etc..when using other aftermarket stuff I just get the whole section put together loosely and tighten it up all at once. Probably need a dremel for something.. good luck and that tranny case makes it nice/quiet and bulletproof if its the magnum 272 gears.
